PhD in Physics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (Turkey). M.Sc. in Physics from University of Zanjan (Iran).
What inspired you to pursue a career in an optoelectronics-related field?
During my PhD, I was interested in optical sensing and I performed researches in design, manufacturing, and modification of fiber-based sensing techniques.
What is your role within the FLOIM project? How do you expect your work in FLOIM project will contribute to your career development?
I am working on the development of a fiber-optic based metrology for nano/microscale mould filling for in-mould quality control in injection overmoulding processes.
What are the activities in your current positon that you find the most interesting and why?
This is a new proposed sensing technique to be developed and integrated into the injection moulding machine that will provide new insights about the in-line quality control in injection overmoulding processes.
What are the main opportunities you identify in your optoelectronics-related field in terms of career development?
This project with collaboration of the consortium partners in their respective fields: tooling technology, injection moulding process development, optical design, sensing, inspection and advanced control, will provide outstanding scientific experiences that will pave the way for my career development.
