FLOIM partners meet in Barcelona, at UPC facilities, where the optical functionalities of the project demonstrators are being developed.
Within last 12 months, the Consortium has investigated technologies such as Ion Implant Lithography, direct laser micromachining and two photon polymerization to generate features within the nano and microescale on moulding materials. These estructures will allow replication of optical functionalities directly during the injection moulding process.
The meeting was topped by a visit to Casa Batlló, where the project members took this group picture.
